There are lots of reasons to visit the Fox and Goose Parracombe. We have an ever changing selection of local ales and cider, as well as offering a full range of other drinks.
We serve good seasonal food simply done with meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes and of course delicious homemade desserts as well. You can stay with us too and enjoy an homemade, hearty breakfast in the morning.

The Fresh Fish Van is here on Tuesdays from 9.15am to 9.45am.
As well as the Post Office also on Tuesdays 11.00am to 1.00pm.
The Fox and Goose is an imposing Victorian building, with a contemporary, stylish interior. We are open Tuesday to Sunday and serve food Tuesday to Saturday evenings and Friday to Sunday lunchtimes.
We typically have 2 local real ales on tap, plus we serve local cider and have a good selection of wines. The pub is food-led with all menu items produced here and as many ingredients as possible are sourced locally. The result is a menu of traditional favourites and seasonal specialities.
There are also four beautiful bedrooms, so you can stay a while, explore the stunning surroundings and return for more delicious food and drinks.

We have four comfortable rooms beautifully decorated in Farrow & Ball colours. All the rooms feature very comfortable beds with linen bedding, gorgeous furniture, under floor heated bathrooms with large rain showers, large fluffy towels & robes.
Then in the morning come on down for homemade cereal, jams & conserves and of course a full cooked breakfast.
There is a joke that if you leave the Fox and Goose Inn hungry we haven't done our job properly!!

Parracombe is located in the Heddon Valley part of Exmoor National Park. This is a stunning part of Devon and perfect for all holiday types, from walking, coastal holidays and activity breaks.
There are also many other outdoor activities for you to enjoy nearby including kayaking in Combe Martin and quad biking in Ilfracombe.
Just 4 miles away from Parracombe are the picturesque twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth where Exmoor meets the sea and with a 500m cliff railway connecting the two.
For coastal fun there are beautiful beaches at Woolacombe and Ilfracombe and plenty of historical interest in Dunster.
