We try to source our ingredients as locally as possible which means the menu varies with the seasons. This also means the menu changes constantly so items & prices do change frequently according to seasonality, availability, and market price fluctuations, but we do put prices down as well as up!! Hence our blackboard menu which we hope you will agree offers a wide choice and something for everyone.
Chefs Nikki & Sally prepare all the items on the menu on site so as a guest you can confidently ask 'what's in it?' Dishes range from traditional pub food such as Homemade Steak & Guinness Pie served with vegetables & sauté potatoes or Slow Cooked Lamb Shank to specialities such as fish stew, traditional Bouillabaisse stock with mixed fish & shellfish as available, served with garlic bread. There are usually 2 or 3 other fish dishes, steak, duck and game, plus an extensive range of vegetarian dishes such as traditional cauliflower cheese to bean and pasta specialities.
...and of course there's always a whole board full of delicious desserts too, not to mention our sumptuous Sunday roasts.

Our ethos is, if we can we will so just ask. Many customers phone to request a previously enjoyed dish or dessert, and as long as there is time to source or make we will endeavour to provide. The same goes for any allergies so please let us know.
