The Fox and Goose is an imposing Victorian building containing genuine artifacts producing a rather quaint and relaxed style and making it quite unique and refreshing.

We usually have 3 local real ales on tap, plus we serve local cider and have a good selection of wines. The pub is food-led with all menu items produced here and as many ingredients as possible are sourced locally. The result is a constantly changing blackboard menu of traditional favourites and seasonal specialities.

Our four bedrooms are beautifully decorated and feature very comfortable beds, large rain showers, under floor heated bathrooms and fluffy towels & robes. Breakfast is homemade and hearty.

Parracombe is located in the Heddon Valley part of Exmoor National Park. This is a stunning part of Devon and perfect for all holiday types, from walking, coastal holidays and activity breaks.

There is an easy laid back atmosphere in Parracombe where the concept of rushing is left to others. Food, laughter and relaxing are the three things which are taken seriously here.

We want you to really enjoy the Fox and Goose Inn, treat it as home, relax and forget all your worries, feel fed and nurtured here. Not find fault with our less than modern surroundings, but realise that this is a place with masses of history that will envelope you like an old favourite cardigan! The food is good, the wine is good, the atmosphere and laughter are great, come and enjoy it too!!!
